Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP), administeredy by Headspace, provides short-term counseling services, work-life services, and mindfulness and sleep support tools. It is available to all eligible employees—even if they are not enrolled in a Company-sponsored medical plan—and their dependents. Eligible dependents include anyone in the household (regardless of age, relation, or health insurance coverage) and dependents up to age 26 that live outside the home.
The program is completely confidential and benefits are covered in full. There are no copayments or other out-of-pocket expenses.
Get started by enrolling at the Headspace website.
Short-Term Mental Health Support
Headspace offers:
- Guided meditations and mindfulness exercises
- Sleep support tools to improve your sleep

- Work and life resources for assistance with elder care, child care, legal services, and financial support
The plan provides you and each of your covered family members with 16 sessions per year at no cost to you. Headspace mental health benefits are in addition to the mental health and substance abuse benefits that are covered by CMSU's medical plans.
